Really awkward moment Good Morning Britain presenter is brutally rejected from Sir Elton John’s star-studded Oscars party live on-air

On Monday, Good Morning Britain journalist Noel Phillips was humiliated when he was refused out from Sir Elton John’s annual Oscars celebration.

The American reporter walked the champagne-colored carpet to interview the industry’s greatest personalities, but despite his good looks, he couldn’t get inside the night’s celebration.
‘We’re going to try and see if we can get into the party,’ he said while facing the camera.

‘Apparently Emma Watson and Donatella Versace and a few famous people are in there. Let’s see if we can gatecrash the party.’

When he reached the entryway, the security guard stood in front of him, hands raised.

‘Sir, the party is over. No entry, please,’ he said.

‘Oh, but Elton said we can come in?’ Noel replied

The guard, however, was having none of it and declared, ‘the party are finished.’

Ouch!

‘We did try, guys,’ Noel said as he returned to the camera. ‘We did try.’

Sympathising with her colleague, host Susanna Reid said: ‘Looks like someone’s about to close the curtains behind you there, Noel. What a shame. You did your best.’

After cringing at Hugh Grant’s incredibly awful red carpet interview, Sunday’s exclusive bash didn’t shy away from embarrassing moments.

Model Ashley Graham, who was interviewing attendees for ABC and looked completely uninterested in the runway star’s queries, approached the Notting Hill actress for a conversation.

Ashley, trying her utmost to keep going, questioned the Oscar winner, ‘What are you wearing?

Hugh, on the other hand, simply said, ‘My outfit.’

Good Morning Britain airs weekdays at 6am on ITV.
