Celebrity Gogglebox’s lineup has grown even more star-studded with the additions of Adam Lambert and Beverley Knight.
The current series of the Channel 4 show has numerous new faces, including comedian Katherine Ryan, singer Tom Grennan, and vocalist Jane McDonald.
It takes viewers on a fascinating tour of some of their favourite celebrities’ living spaces while answering some very crucial questions… What are their preferred hot beverages? What is their favourite type of biscuit? You know, the genuine brain teasers.
This Friday’s episode will feature two music superstars joining their ranks, as the other Starstruck judges compete together.
Beverley, 50, is looking forward to the ‘wisecracks’ her co-star would definitely provide when they relax on the sofa together to watch the week’s most-talked-about episodes.
Adam, 41, on the other hand, revealed that they haven’t decided what snacks to serve.
‘Beverley and I have a blast performing on stage so it’ll be brilliant to watch Gogglebox together,’ the Queen rocker said.
‘We haven’t decided what our snacks will be yet but I can’t wait to sit down for a minute and watch some great TV.’
Beverley added: ‘Giving a running commentary in front of the telly while drinking tea is standard for me!
‘Having Adam with me was a match made in heaven, he’s got wisecracks for days!’
While Adam and Beverley are fantastic additions to the Celebrity Gogglebox ensemble, they aren’t the only known faces who have joined the show as newbies.
Davina McCall, Chris Packham, Munroe Bergdorf, Leomie Anderson, N-Dubz, Stephen Mangan, and Ricky Tomlinson are among the others.
Last week’s programme included radio host Roman Kemp appearing exceedingly nervous after his father, Spandau Ballet’s Martin Kemp, made an unpleasant revelation regarding Roman’s mother, Shirlie Kemp.
Martin admitting to viewing ‘raunchy material’ with his wife, something no child ever wants to hear from or about their parents.
Martin made it even worse as he insisted: ‘Mum likes it!’, prompting Roman to exclaim: ‘Oh shut up, man!’
Celebrity Gogglebox returns on Friday at 9pm on Channel 4.
