Prince Harry casually dropped in BTS of James Corden’s final The Late Late Show

In new footage from James Corden’s farewell Late Late Show, Prince Harry makes a low-key yet unexpected cameo.

The 44-year-old Gavin & Stacey actor hosted The Late Late Show in America for nearly seven years, taking over the late-night show in 2015.

However, after several A-list guests and memorable Carpool Karaokes, James decided to call it quits and return to the UK to spend more time with his family.

The History Boys actor made certain that the last episode, which aired in April, went out with a bang, including the likes of Harry Styles and Adele.

But, unbeknownst to spectators at the time, there was another A-lister lurking behind the scenes: none other than the Duke of Sussex.

In a new behind-the-scenes footage broadcast on The Late Late Show’s YouTube, the 38-year-old was seen in a blink-and-you’ll-miss-it moment hanging out with the crew and producers backstage.

In the brief film, Prince Harry, who did not participate with his wife Meghan Markle, kept it genuine by handing the show’s producer Ben Winston a drink.

Ben thanked Prince Harry for the drink as the prince patted him on the back.

The father-of-two previously appeared on The Late Late Show in 2021, where he discussed leaving the UK and starting a new life in California.

He emphasised that he had not abandoned the Royal Family and that his life would always revolve around ‘public duty.’

‘I will never walk away, I will always be contributing. My life is public service,’ Prince Harry said at the time.

One of the most hilarious moments of James’ interview with Prince Harry was when they went to the iconic home from the 1990s series The Fresh Prince Of Bel-Air, with the duke rapping the theme song originally sung by Will Smith.

The real-life tenants of the residence were surprised when Prince Harry stepped in to use the toilet before he and James video-called Meghan.

Prince Harry and James have had a long friendship, with the latter performing at his wedding to Meghan Markle in 2018.
