Piers Morgan has branded Liz Hurley ‘thirsty’ for posing for a topless photoshoot in the snow.
The Bedazzled actress and RuPaul’s Drag Race guest judge, 55, proudly posed in her garden, wearing just an open robe and white knickers, for pics posted on Instagram on Monday.
But while fans praised her for looking incredible, Piers took a swipe at the actress on Good Morning Britain today, calling her ‘creepy’ for getting her lookalike son Damian, 18, to take the shots.
‘Yeah she looks fabulous, but what are you doing Liz? Bit of snow and you get your kit off?’ Piers said.
‘And who took the pictures? Your 18 year old/19 year old son? Really? What is all this? It’s what we call in the business – I call it thirsty.’
Susanna Reid was quick to jump to Liz’s defence though, and scolded Piers for being hypocritical.
‘I just said to Piers you can’t accuse other people of being thirsty when you’re on national television, have at least two columns – you’re thirsty for attention,’ she said.
‘No, it means other people are thirsty for me,’ Piers told her, to which she responded: ‘Well, I’ll tell you what, a lot of people will be thirsty for this!’
‘When women go over 50 are they no longer allowed to bear any flesh?’ she told him.
Piers remained defiant though, and continued: ‘Yeah she looks great but also come on, for goodness’ sake, you’re 55. Put your clothes on.
‘She’s my age. My first thought when the snow came wasn’t to run outside and strip naked and put it on social media.’
While Piers may not approve, we don’t think Liz is going to care all that much – with dozens of friends and fans cheering her on for the stunning impromptu shoot, captioned simply: ‘how could I resist?’
And it seems she became a little inspo for designer Jasper Conran, who responded: ‘How indeed… I did much the same… it felt good.’
