Fans of Tyson Fury can’t get enough of the boxer’s previous voice, which altered radically after a battle.

The Netflix star, 35, revealed that he was hit in the neck so hard that it permanently damaged his voice.

Speaking on Hits Radio, he explained: ‘This guy called Ty, he punched me in the throat in sparring and it ended up with me getting a blood clot in me throat.

‘Ever since then, I now sound like my dad,’ the athlete said in reference to his father John Fury, who is known for his gravelly, deep voice.

His wife Paris Fury, 33, described his OG voice as ‘soft and delicate’ and added he was able to sing ‘real high noted songs’ before the life-changing incident.

Fans can now hear Tyson’s dulcet tones during his first-ever news conference, which took place after the Carl Froch vs. Jean Pascal fight in 2008.

Fans were left reeling after watching the clip, with one commenting: ‘Such a soft spoken gentlemen fury here. Very different to the man we see today.’

‘Crazy to see his voice transformation after a decade,’ another remarked.

A third added: ‘His voice changed a lot!’

Tyson is presently starring in the Netflix original series At Home With The Furys, which takes fans behind the scenes of his home and family life.

The docu-series follows Tyson as he comes out of retirement, with Paris skillfully taking care of the home amid the commotion, while Tommy Fury and Molly-Mae Hague, both 24, embark on their first journey as first-time parents.

However, the boxer has reportedly declined a second season of the show due to the invasive nature of shooting.

At Home With The Furys is available to stream on Netflix.
