Cillian Murphy has finally spilled some details of Peaky Blinders season 6, and be warned – it sounds like we’re in for a bumpy ride.
It’s been a long wait, but the final season of Peaky Blinders looks set to land in just a few weeks time.
So far, the biggest hint over what’s to come so far has come from the trailer released by the BBC on New Year’s Day, which appeared to confirm both the survival of Tommy and the return of Tom Hardy as Alfie Solomons.
However, with the cast and crew famously keeping things very under wraps between seasons, Tommy Shelby star Cillian dropped a rare taster of what fans can expect from the new episodes, hinting at ‘intense’ new episodes ahead.
He told Rolling Stone: ‘I think it’s going to be very intense.
‘The word we keep using is “gothic.” Yeah, it’s going to be heavy!’ Cillian promised.
He confirmed to the publication in November the show was in post-production, adding: ‘They’re very far into the cut — I’ve seen all six episodes.’
We’re so jealous.
The final chapter comes more than two years since Tommy was seen pointing a gun at his own head after having visions of his late wife Grace (Annabelle Wallis), however, we have no idea if he actually pulled the trigger.
