Paige Thorne’s loved ones have responded to Coco Lodge’s claims that the pair had unresolved issues in the Love Island villa, claiming there are ‘two sides to every story’.

After being dumped from the ITV2 dating show, Coco revealed she was told that the 24-year-old paramedic didn’t like her vibe despite claiming she ‘tried really hard’ to befriend her.

Taking to TikTok, she shared details of their supposed feud, telling fans: ‘She [Paige] had some sort of issue with me, or whatever, where she told someone she didn’t like my vibe. I’ve actually only just found this out.’

Coco also claimed Paige had ‘got annoyed’ when someone drew a comparison between their appearances, saying: ‘She didn’t want to look like me.’

She continued: ‘Then obviously [Paige] told Gemma [Owen] giggling that I was a four out of 10 and she was a 12, which isn’t nice or kind behaviour.’

Revealing she tried ‘really, really hard’ to try and form a bond with Paige, Coco went on: ‘And [for Paige] to then go and tell one of my best friends Summer [Botwe] that she just doesn’t like my vibes, when I didn’t do anything but actually try really hard with her because she was the least welcoming to all of us.

‘I never got with Jacques [O’Neill] or anything; I just didn’t understand her issue with me. Was it because I was another brunette? I don’t know.’

Paige’s family has since responded to Coco’s claims and posted a statement on the islander’s Instagram Story.

‘Please remember there are two sides to every story,’ they penned. ‘It’s very easy to talk about someone who cannot defend themselves.

Paige is among the remaining five couples cooped up in the Love Island villa, alongside Andrew Le Page and Tasha, Dami Hope and Indiyah Polack, Luca Bish and Gemma Owen, and Davide Sanclimenti and Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu.

She is currently coupled up with Adam Collard, who swooped into the show as she was having relationship issues with Jacques O’Neill.
