ITV’s latest thriller Our House has had viewers hooked with its gripping plot as Line of Duty’s Martin Compston and Downton Abbey’s Tuppence Middleton take the lead.
Based on the 2018 novel by Louise Candlish, Our House sees Fiona arrive home one day to find strangers moving in, with her furniture and family possessions nowhere to be seen.
Despite a minor interruption during the show’s debut, fans have been tuning in religiously since the programme premiered on Monday March 7.

There are four episodes of Our House in total.
The miniseries follows Bram Lawson (Martin) and his wife Fi Lawson (Middleton), whose life is slowly turned upside-down when he makes a series of unforgivable errors.
Set on different timelines, Fi comes home one day to discover a new family moving into her home, which was never up for sale.
While Bram appeared to be a typical regular guy during the show’s opener, his darker side and secrets he’d been hiding from Fi soon came to the surface.
‘He just ups the ante every episode,’ Martin told Metro.co.uk
‘He’s on a sort of downward depressive spiral from page seven for the rest of the series!
‘He just gets himself into bigger and bigger trouble but that’s good TV! You’re kind of screaming at him to just stop,’ he added.
Due to the show’s nature, some scenes are pretty heavy to watch, and shooting them weren’t any easier for the Scottish actor.
‘It’s funny because when you read it on the page, you go, “Oh, this is gonna be great”, but then we actually turn up to do it, you go “Oh, my God, I’m breaking down practically every scene”,’ he explained.
‘So it was a tough old shoot, it really was! But when you see the sort of end product, you hope this is worth it! The initial reaction seems to be that it was.’
When does Our House end?
Sadly, after tonight, there will be one episode left.
But don’t worry as you can relieve the madness all over again on ITV Hub.
Actors Rupert Penry-Jones (The Batman, Whitechapel), Weruche Opia (I May Destroy You), and Buket Komur (Honour) complete the cats, but the undeniable star of the show is the actual house itself, located in Dulwich, overlooking Peckham Rye.
Ahead of the series premiere, Tuppence explained how the building reflects how Fi and Bram are as a couple.
‘The house becomes symbolic of the relationship between Fi and Bram, which is slowly eroding. We watch as the things she thought were important to her start to slip away,’ she said.
While producer Tom Mullen emphasised how important it was for the crew to find the ‘right house.’
‘You have to feel these are real people, who got lucky 15 years ago. They bought their house when it was vaguely affordable, and now it’s worth £2million,’ he told the Daily Express.
The drama was filmed from July 2021 until the end of the year, largely around south London after the crew had scoured all parts of the capital for the ‘perfect location’.
Our House returns tonight at 9pm on ITV.
