Chloe Veitch, a Netflix star, had a dramatic moment with her fellow celebs when she came out as bisexual on The Big Celebrity Detox.
The Too Hot To Handle actor, 24, joins on the new Channel 4 programme alongside Kerry Katona, Martin Roberts from Homes Under the Hammer, and Megan Barton Hanson.
They are put through their paces when they check into a detox facility for some extreme treatments and are urged to open up as they have never opened up before.
Chloe did exactly that in the most recent episode when she had a significant epiphany.
‘A lot has occurred at this point, but I’m becoming irritated with myself because I’ve been compressing who I am for so long. Why am I not saying it?’ she asked the cameras.
The Perfect Match actress boldly addressed the audience while crying.
‘I can’t keep it a secret anymore because it’s killing me,’ she began.
‘I’ve been in relationships with women secretly for a good few years now.
‘And I’m bisexual but I’ve been really scared to show the world who I really am.’
Chloe got nothing but affection from her co-stars, with former Atomic Kitten singer Kerry exclaiming, ‘Yes!’ and Ibiza Weekender’s David Potts reassuringly rubbing her arm.
As Chloe wept, the group applauded for her.
‘I feel like I was just trapping myself in,’ she then admitted.
‘Ever since I was a kid, I’ve been suppressing that feeling, that shame, “Is this normal? I’ve never experienced this”.’
She admitted that neither her family nor her acquaintances were aware of her bisexuality.
‘For me to actually come out and accept it, let alone just say it, is massive.’
‘This is me!’, she exclaimed proudly. ‘Do you know what I mean? This is me.’
On how the programme has helped her come to terms with her sexuality she said: ‘By being here, it’s helped me come to terms with the fact that this isn’t just a blip, it isn’t a stage, it’s who I am.
‘You’ve pushed me to the point of accepting myself.’
As Kerry told her she is ‘amazing’, Chloe let out a cheerful: ‘I’m out and I’m proud!’
The reality star later told cameras that she ‘doesn’t know’ what happens next since she is still ‘frightened’ of informing her loved ones.
‘I need that courage, I need that inner warrior to just get through these next stages. I just need a massive hug off my mum right now,’ she said.
‘I’m out!’
