Millie Bobby Brown is said to have turned down a hefty opportunity to feature in Stranger Things spin-offs.
The 19-year-old Enola Holmes rose to prominence on the Netflix sci-fi thriller as Eleven, an adolescent girl with telepathic and psychokinetic skills.
The popular series, which also stars Winona Ryder and Finn Wolfhard, will conclude with its fifth season, which will be released in 2024.
Yet, the Stranger Things world is far from ended, with creators Matt and Ross Duffer already hinting at spin-offs.
While nothing has been approved by TV executives, it is believed that multiple irons are in the fire.
Millie, who has already stated that she is ready to hang up Eleven/Jane Hopper’s shoes, will apparently not be involved.
According to The Sun, the British actress has already turned down £10 million to star in a Stranger Things movie.
A source said: ‘There are so many directions it could go. Nothing is off the table.
‘They think it would translate to a stage show for Broadway and the West End just like Harry Potter and the Cursed Child.
‘Another spin-off series following some of the show’s main characters is also being worked up.’
In March, Millie shared she was ‘definitely ready to wrap up’ Stranger Things in an interview with Seventeen.
She explained: ‘I feel like there’s a lot of the story that’s been told now, and we know of it, it’s been in our lives for a very long time.
‘But I’m very ready to say goodbye to this chapter of my life and open new ones up.’
Stranger Things is available to stream on Netflix.
