Michelle Heaton shared the extent of her injuries following her gruelling stint on Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins.

This year the cast features 16 new celebrities, including at least one controversial figure in former Health Secretary Matt Hancock, as well as singer Gareth Gates, Olympian Perri Shakes-Drayton – and the first instalment of the series has already seen them undertake some brutal challenges.

The Liberty X singer, 44, shared a shocking picture of her bloodshot eye after developing a recurring eye infection known as ‘swamp eye.’

Michelle explained that she contracted the condition due to ‘extreme dirty water’ and poor conditions in the jungle

‘TRIGGER WARNING ‼️ This is called ‘swamp eye,’ she penned.

‘A year ago after returning from SAS Who Dares Wins parasite’s found in extreme dirty water from the jungle, decided to return in my eye with me.’

She continued: ‘They lived in there & found their new home for over 3 months. Unable to see properly. To this day my vision is still slightly blurred in my right eye.

‘I remember going straight into Dancing on Ice training with a patch on – almost until the live shows.

‘Tune into SAS tonight 9pm Channel 4 to see if it was all worth it.’

The previous Dancing on Ice contestant wants to appear on the show in order to improve people’s perceptions about her.

Recently 18 months sober, Michelle previously said, ‘I’m in competition with just myself. And it was the best challenge ever. So it was really only me. I had something to prove to, no one else.’
