Matt Goss has confessed that he does not communicate with his twin brother Luke.
The 54-year-old musician was the main vocalist of the 1980s pop group Bros, which included his twin brother Luke on drums.
However, on Thursday’s Good Morning Britain, Matt revealed to hosts Susanna Reid and Ben Shephard that he and Luke, both 54, are no longer speaking.
Matt made the reveal after 52-year-old Susanna asked: ‘Are you going to get back to Bros?’
The 80s icon then replied: ‘Well, we’re not talking at the moment.’
He added: ‘Luke, if you’re watching this, we should talk at least.’
Matt continued: ‘We’re so dysfunctional me and Luke at times, we haven’t spoken for months.’
Ben, 48, then queried: ‘What happened?’ to which Matt replied, ‘I don’t really know at this point.’
He also noted: ‘I really wanna get on stage. My favourite person to play with on stage is my brother, but I don’t want to lie to you guys and say it’s all hunky dory.’
Matt and Luke rose to prominence in the late 1980s with the band Bros, which included their buddy Craig Logan on bass.
When Will I Be Famous?, Drop The Boy, Cat Among The Pigeons, and their 1987 chart-topper I Owe You Nothing were all singles for the band when they formed in 1986.
They also had two top five albums, Push in 1987 and The Time in 1988.
At the height of their success, the band had a tremendous audience known as the ‘Brosettes,’ and they were so famous that police had to block up section of Oxford Street in Central London on one occasion because it was overrun by fans who had come to see the band autograph records at HMV.
Their fan club has over six million members worldwide, and their debut UK tour sold out all 14 dates within an hour of being on sale.
