The UK version of Married At First Sight was reportedly thrown into disarray because competitors cheated on their wives with other cast members.
It’s already been a tumultuous season, with three competitors being faced with the axe for ‘rule-breaking’ and ‘wild partying’ just weeks into shooting.
Ella Morgan is suspected of cheating on husband Nathanial Valentino with another groom on the series, according to new infidelity charges.
The claims come after Ella and Nathanial had a heated argument on their honeymoon, despite initially appearing to have real chemistry on their wedding day.
According to the Mail Online, Ella shared a ‘passionate kiss’ with a new groom who enters the series later in the show – behind Nathanial’s back.
Ella, 29, a transgender woman, allegedly met another groom with whom she had a greater relationship and cheated on Nathanial, 36, with a source telling the magazine that ‘one of the other grooms ticked more of her boxes.’
They said the pair were ‘instantly attracted to one other the day of their wedding, but Ella’s natural type is a heterosexual male with masculine energy,’ leaving pansexual Nathanial in the dust.
Ella ‘didn’t want to upset Nathanial or go against [the series’] process,’ the insider claimed, but she was ‘searching for love and with the other groom, he likes her body and mind, and they had a far greater chance of having a long-lasting relationship together.’
Contacted for comment, a Channel 4 spokeswoman said: ‘We don’t comment on speculation.
‘Viewers will have to tune in to find out what does or doesn’t happen as the series develops – there’s still 33 episodes to go.’
Nathanial and Ella are fan favourites in the current season, with fans in tears as the groom embraced his wife for who she is on their wedding day after she came out as trans.
The couple looked to be madly over heals for one other right away, but cracks have already surfaced as they traded insults on their honeymoon in Mexico, with Ella saying that there was ‘no sexual chemistry’ and that they could be better off as friends.
She asked her husband to supper on their final night of honeymoon in the hopes of resolving their disagreement, but Nathanial declined.
‘Is there a resolution? I’m not sure – I’m gutted,’ he said.
