It looks like Lucifer fans could be in for a Christmas treat this year, after the programme’s showrunner teased a festive special.
Ildy Modrovich has been getting viewers very excited indeed after posting a picture from the set of the drama, showing a man dressed as Santa sitting in a tent.
‘Just another Christmas. Happy Holidays, angels!!’ she wrote.
Fans instantly began to speculate that the teaser could mean the show was back earlier than they thought, and that a Christmas special was on the way.
‘I can’t wait to see what you guys have planned!! I hope it’s a present we get to open for Christmas,’ one wrote.
‘A Christmas episode, I’m so Excitedddddd!’ another said.
It wasn’t long before Idly replied to their messages either, writing on Twitter: ‘Who’s to say the REAL Santa wasn’t just visiting our set with his sack full of toys? We HAVE been verrrry nice this year.’
We don’t want to jinx it, but it looks like the devil might be making an appearance as well as Santa this year – watch this space.
In the meantime, season 5B of the is on the way soon and Netflix recently shared a sneaky glimpse with a clip starring the devil’s partner Chloe Decker (played by Lauren German).
Showrunner Joe Henderson has already teased that the second half of season five is set to be a rollercoaster of emotions.
