Love Island finalists Samie Elishi and Tom Clare have confirmed their relationship.
After confessing their love for one other during the final episodes, pro footballer Tom, 23, and senior estate agent coordinator Samie, 22, finished third before Kai Fagan and Sanam Harrinanan earned the title.
‘Here is my boyfriend, everyone,’ Sammie joyfully declared on Instagram Stories after their romantic date night.
Tom seemed ecstatic as Usher’s Love in this Club played in the background.
Samie also posted a sweet photo of herself and Tom at the Italian restaurant Gloria Trattoria with the remark, ‘My favourite location with my favourite guy.’
This is obviously wonderful news for Love Island viewers, who have already learned that two couples have called it quits.
Bombshells Casey O’Gorman, 26, and Rosie Seabrook, 24, were the first to split up after Casey announced the news on social media.
‘Rosie and I have spoken…she’s a great girl. Life outside the villa is just very different and we will remain friends moving forward,’ he wrote.
Zara Lackenby-Brown, 25, and Jordan Odofin, 28, both assured followers that they were better off as friends shortly after.
‘Hey everyone. Jordan and I would like to acknowledge the increasing public support for us to be seen as an exclusive couple,’ she wrote on her Instagram on Tuesday.
In identical statements on both of their social media profiles, the pair then both wrote: ‘After a few dates since leaving the villa we know that we definitely get along and enjoy each other’s company.’
‘It’s been two and a half weeks of getting to know each other, and for now it’s a fun friendship between us.’
The concluded by writing that they ‘had a lot of respect for each other and that’s what matters.’
Love Island is available to stream on ITVX.
