Molly Marsh’s budding romance with Mitchel Taylor may be in peril, according to the next episode of Love Island.
The 24-year-old, whose mother is Coronation Street actress Janet Marsh, has been torn between staying with Mitchel and pursuing bombshell Zachariah Noble.
She was seen breaking down in tears during a heart-to-heart with Ruchee Gurung on Thursday’s episode of the ITV2 juggernaut.
She informed the beautician she was ‘open’ and ‘definitely going to speak’ to Zachariah’more’ while sitting by the pool.
‘I know Mitch is saying to people he’s closed off,’ Molly began, before Ruchee jumped in: ‘It’s not like you’re in a relationship.’
Bursting into tears, Molly said she was ‘finding it hard to explain myself’ but added: ‘Whatever happens I just go with it.’
‘I know you don’t want to let anyone down or be cruel,’ Ruchee comforted Molly. It’s unlike you.’
While Molly brightened up later in the show by going on a date with the newest bombshell Sammy Root, 22, it appears that trouble is on the way.
In the preview, she is seen confronting Mitchell and telling him: ‘Everyone tells me you’re closed off. You’re good. No, I’m not closed off.’
Looking shocked, Mitchel responds: ‘I don’t want to give you the energy I think you deserve when you’re not going to give me the reciprocation back.’
As the preview ends, Iain Stirling, the show’s commentator, reveals that “one marriage is in trouble,” as Molly is shown sobbing.
Have Molly and Mitchel just struck a snag? Or will Zachariah completely turn her head?
