Mitchel Taylor’s toes appear to be stepping on during tonight’s episode of Love Island.
The tenth season of the yearly blockbuster dating programme has begun, and Monday’s broadcast gave us our first glimpse at the public-chosen pairs.
The voting paired islanders Molly Marsh, Tyrique Hyde, Ella Thomas, Mitchel Ruchee Gurung, Mehdi Edno, Jess Harding, George Fensom, Catherine Agbaje, and André Furtado.
Musical theatre artist Molly, 21, and gas engineer Mitchel, 26, were quite delighted with their partnership at yesterday’s premiere, especially after finding they live only 20 minutes apart in real life, in Doncaster and Sheffield, respectively.
They even had their swimsuits coordinated, if inadvertently.
However, it appears that someone will burst the M&M bubble.
According to Love Island teasers, George will use his finest chat up lines on Molly.
Molly tells George which other lads she’d want to get to know better after telling the girls last night that she has a’strong connection’ with Mitchel.
‘I do find you attractive, do you know what I mean?’ George admits.
‘So I’d be interested to keep chatting to you.’
This comes after Jess stated her disinterest in business development executive George when host Maya Jama urged the girls to step forward if they believed they were with the wrong guy, with Jess and Ruchee accepting the challenge.
Then there’s bombshell Zachariah Noble, who gets to pick whatever female he wants to date in tonight’s episode.
But who will he pick?
Love Island returns tonight at 9pm on ITV2.
