Ella Thomas and Tyrique Hyde are having difficulties in paradise tonight in the Love Island mansion.
Tyrique, 24, embraced bombshell Leah Taylor with, um, wide arms, leaving the 23-year-old Glaswegian model in tears twice.
Following her selection of the footballer for a date on last night’s show, which Tyrique described as “crazy flirtatious” and “hot,” the 27-year-old novice got to know Tyrique a bit more.
Tyrique ended up asking the Manchester-born influencer to twirl for him and show off her dress during a really intimate conversation.
Leah consented, much to the chagrin of spectator Ella.
Tyrique said that he needed’someone like’ Leah to ‘come in and test the waters.’
Tyrique then asked Ella why she was ‘fuming,’ which led to an awkward group interaction.
‘I’m just sitting, it’s my face,’ she replied.
Tyrique walked out after a few uncomfortable exchanges and asked why she was seething again, to which she said she wasn’t.
However, the fight continued in the kitchen, with Tyrique accusing Ella of “looking furious” once more and her denying it.
Ella then stated that he didn’t need to be so flirtatious in front of her, to which he responded that she was ‘stupid.’
‘Be respectful, don’t be saying, “Get up and show me your outfit,” no.’Ella explained.
Tyrique then walked away for the second time, in classic Love Island manner.
Later that night, in bed, fans voted Tyrique the season’s best player, and he told Ella, ‘You’re my favourite,’ despite her protests.
But it wasn’t okay in the morning, and Ella ended up crying twice since Tyrique didn’t talk to her after their disagreement and instead chatted to the other females.
Fans were loving the action, as one took to Twitter and said: ‘Tyrique said right in front of Ella that he asked Leah to twirl for him I’M SCREAMING.’
Another said: ‘Tyrique accidentally flirting his way into a new couple. Aries men.’
Others branded the footballer this season’s player, as one said: ‘”You’re my favourite” Tyrique is a PRO player.’
Tyrique appeared to warn Ella of what was to come before the uncomfortable twirl, but little did she anticipate how the night would finish.
He warned her: ‘If you see me talking to her and that, I’m just talking to her and seeing what can happen.’
A little struck, Ella responded, ‘What does that mean?’ before he explained: ‘If we have conversations and that my mind could change, do you know what I mean? I told her that I wasn’t fully closed off basically.’
‘I totally get that, and that’s cool,’ said Ella, before saying that if a man were to come in she liked the look of, she would do the same.
The recoupling revealed the Scot’s suspicions were justified towards the end of the night, as Leah chose Tyrique to couple up with, leaving Ella solo and exposed to dumping.
