Amy Hart has announced the name of her newborn boy, as well as the inspiration for the name.
The former Love Island actress revealed the news only one day after announcing the birth of her first child with partner Sam Rason, telling fans that her newborn boy’s name was inspired by her grandfather.
The 30-year-old announced on Wednesday that she and Sam named their son Stanley, and Molly-Mae Hague, a new mother herself, was among the first to praise the choice, writing: ‘Lovely Stanley. Adorable.’
Amy and Sam said midweek on Instagram: ‘Stanley Samuel Giles Rason.
‘Stanley: We loved the name and also Amy’s Grandad Geoffs middle name.
‘Samuel: After @samuelrason obviously but also Amys brother is Samuel too!
‘Giles: Nanny and Grandads last name, hopefully he’ll inherit their love of shots!’
The new parents also shared two photos of Stanley and continued: ‘[Photos: 1) a couple of hours old, Baby Stanley already got Mummy’s back to prove that Amy’s big lips are indeed genetic.
‘[Photo 2] when Daddy says he’s going home for the evening.’
Amy revealed her first child’s birth a day earlier, informing her one million Instagram followers: ‘We are home with our lovely baby boy after 4 days of contractions at home (which everyone told us were braxton hicks…they weren’t), 4 relatively short hours in the birth suite, and 5 hard days in hospital.’
‘Born at 3.31am on 3/3/23 weighing 8lbs with the most gorgeous head of hair (Amy would take the 9 months of reflux again) and we are so very in love,’ the adoring mother continued.
In August, the former air hostess announced that she was expecting her first child.
The reality star, who starred on the ITV2 dating programme in 2019, has been candid about her experience with egg freezing after finding that she is likely to experience early menopause.
She was seeking IVF on her own before meeting Sam in 2021, wanting to ensure she’d be able to have her own family.
