Love Island winner Jack Fincham admits he finds it hard watching show

Despite winning Love Island in 2018, Jack Fincham now finds it difficult to watch the ITV2 show.

The former pen salesman, 31, won the fourth series with his then-girlfriend Dani Dyer, 26, before the couple parted in April 2019.

While Jack will be watching this year’s crop of singletons try to find love in the South African villa, he concedes it won’t be easy.

‘It’s mad, it’s hard for me to watch…,’ he said while appearing at The Last Heist premiere.

‘I know [how] things are done. So, I’m like “I bet that took four hours”, like the challenges and stuff taking ages, but I love the show, I love it.’

He continued to The Sun: ‘I was a fan, a massive fan of it. I’ve always watched it.

After parting from girlfriend Dani, Jack and former partner Casey Ranger welcomed a daughter, Blossom, in 2020.

Meanwhile, Dani and her ex-boyfriend Sammy Kimmence welcomed a baby, Santiago, in 2021.

For the first time since the epidemic, Love Island returns tonight with its winter season.

The new episode, which will be presented for the first time by radio DJ Maya Jama since being named Laura Whitmore’s replacement, will see 10 islanders join the villa on Monday night.

Among the participants are Ron Hall, the first partially sighted islander, Owen Warner’s ex-girlfriend Lana Jenkins, and Olivia Hawkins, 27, who appeared in No Time To Die with Daniel Craig.

Love Island starts tonight at 9pm on ITV2.
