On Wednesday, Love Island was a touch less glamorous than normal since the islanders were served a rather terrible supper.
As the potential couples got to know one other on a romantic date in the garden, it was up to Sammy Root and Whitney Aebayo to prepare some food for them.
The problem is that they have no concept how to cook.
It inspired Sammy to create his own cuisine, which he termed as “pasta mash.”
And it does exactly what it claims. Spaghetti. Everything has become muddled. And slathered with sauce.
Yum.
Everyone was pleasant to their faces as they delivered the not-so-Michelin-starred supper to their fellow islanders, even though they were told they were having ‘pasta mash.’
But the whispering began as soon as they turned their backs: ‘What the f*** is that?’
Sammy himself stated, when eating in the kitchen with Whitney, ‘That’s f***ing terrible.’
To which an exasperated Whitney said: ‘I told you it would be disgusting.’
Viewers were just as horrified, flocking to Twitter to share their opinions, with one person writing: ‘What kind of cooking horror show am I witnessing?’
‘Get Sammy out of the kitchen immediately,’ one wrote, with another joking: ‘There’s gonna be no episode tomorrow cause they’re all gonna have food poisoning.’
For dessert, Sammy’s Super Sexy Sundae – his words, not ours – was served.
However, there were no complaints, so he must have been joking about putting onions in the ice cream as a treat.
