Amy Day, the Love Island star, has disclosed that she was brought to the hospital following a painful-looking mishap.
The reality personality, who participated on the show in 2021, updated her followers on Instagram.
She posted a photo from inside an A&E waiting room before later updating with her injuries.
The 26-year-old captioned a video of herself wearing stiletto boots behind a hospital curtain, ‘wonderful A&E footwear, simply wonderful.’
She subsequently wrote, ‘Having my nail torn off was absolutely not on my plan today, but her.’
‘Who wants to write on it xoxo,’ Amy penned as she showed her pinky finger bandaged up entirely and taped to her hand.
Amy appeared on Love Island 2021 as a Casa Amor bombshell and was paired up with fellow islander Hugo Hammond.
However, once the couple was sent from the island, things swiftly soured, with Hugo stating that his love-life on the programme had been ‘tragic,’ despite Amy standing right next to him.
Amy, the actress and property negotiator, confessed she had tested positive for Covid-19 shortly after leaving the resort.
Taking to Instagram Stories, Amy shared a video, while still managing to look as glam as ever, telling her followers: ‘Hi guys, thought I would quickly jump on here just to address everyone’s questions of, “Am I feeling better? Do I have Covid?”
‘I’ve just had positive results for Covid, I’m fuming. If anyone has any remedies or things to keep myself busy with during isolation, then ping those through, much appreciated, and yeah, obviously I’ll still be posting, I’m still on my phone, I definitely feel a lot better so I can’t complain.
‘But yeah, I’ll see you on the other side guys, love you lots.’
Love Island is available to watch on ITV Hub.
