Greg O’Shea alleges that after winning Love Island, he received attention from Stranger Things actress Millie Bobby Brown.
Greg, 28, who won the show in 2019 with Amber Gill, 25, recalled Millie, 19, who portrays Eleven, in his Instagram direct messages.
That’s a TV crossover we didn’t see coming.
‘Millie Bobby Brown, I don’t know whether you want to tell Jon Bon Jovi’s kid, but she slid into my DMs,’ Greg remembered.
Greg was alluding to Millie, who is rumoured to be engaged to Jake Bongiovi.
Millie quoted Taylor Swift lyrics in an Instagram caption that accompanied a selfie with Jake, 20, and a pretty big impossible-to-ignore ring on display. She wrote: ‘I’ve loved you three summers now, honey, I want ’em all.’
Greg made the announcement while hosting Virgin Media’s Six O’clock news in Ireland, and he gave viewers further information.
‘Now it was when I got my 15 seconds of fame after Love Island, she’s in my DMs.’
He promised to present the photograph to his co-hosts as proof.
Greg, on the other hand, questioned Millie’s motives: ‘She could have also been in love with Amber, the girl I won with, so that was sort of the in.’
All good things must come to an end, and Greg’s ended abruptly. He remembered Millie unfollowing him barely two weeks after the original message.
‘She didn’t want anything to do with me,’ he recalled.
Noah, who portrays Will Byers on Stranger Things, stated on Instagram live that he ‘DM’d Ekin-Su and she responded,’ and later added that they had a video conversation.
