Fans are ecstatic that Jess Harding and Sammy Root have been named the winners of Love Island.
The pair made it to the finish and won the coveted £50,000 prize money after eight weeks of insane turns and turns and more drama than we could have ever imagined.
The finals were Whitney Adebayo and Lochan Nowacki, Sammy and Jess and Tyrique Hyde and Ella Thomas, Molly Marsh and Zachariah Noble, and after Mitchel Taylor and Ella Barnes were dumped in the semi-final.
Former Islanders were all seated for the programme when host Maya Jama made one final visit to the Spanish villa to tell Jess and Sammy the news.
Fans also got a peek of the couple’s final day in paradise, as they exchanged vows of love at a beautiful ball before dancing the night away, in true Love Island fashion.
Molly and Zach came in fourth in the public poll, and they also declared their engagement during that time.
Following Kady McDermott’s entrance, Molly was sensationally expelled from the villa but was later invited back during Casa Amor.
Tyrique and Ella finished third despite a challenging voyage. Although the two were unbreakable, there was a hiccup once Ella returned from Casa Amor with Ouzy See.
Finally, Whitney and Lochan came in as runners-up, just missing out on the prize.

But given the couple’s difficult relationship, Sammy and Joss were the focus of the evening, and their admirers were both happy and shocked.
One person tweeted: ‘YASSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS JESS AND SAMMY WON.’
However, many were also taken aback since they thought Whitney and Lochan would win.
‘Jess and Sammy? Imma need a recount,’ one person tweeted.
‘No way Sammy and Jess just won,’ another added.
