The summer of love is nearly here, and we couldn’t be more excited.
Following the victory of Kai Fagan and Sanam Harrinanan in the Winter Series of Love Island 2023, a new group of candidates is looking to find love.
The details for the 10th season of the reality dating show are being kept under wraps, but whispers about who could appear have begun to circulate.
Maya Jama has already been announced as host, having taken over from Laura Whitmore in the previous season, so all that remains to be seen is who will be lined up for the opportunity to find love.
Here’s everything you need to know so far about the speculated lineup…
Andre Furtado
Andre Furtado, an economics graduate, is supposed to be the first ‘unveiled’ future islander.
The 21-year-old, who has a three-year degree in business economics and is the co-founder of the fashion label Social Kids, is expected to move into the property in Majorca in the coming weeks.
‘Andre is the perfect Love Island signing… he’s cool, calm, collected, and ready to mingle,’ a source said.
The insider added to Mail Online: ‘He knows himself but without being arrogant and producers are hoping his intellect, as well as his creativity and handsome looks will make him a favourite among the females.’
Molly Marsh
This would not be the first time a celebrity’s children has joined the villa, from Gemma Owen to Jack Keating.
And now it’s been reported that the daughter of a Coronation Street actress is in ‘final discussions’ to join the show, despite the fact that Molly Marsh, 24, is an actor in her own right, having appeared in pantomimes around the country.
A source told The Sun that she was ‘scouted after visiting the villa in South Africa earlier this year’.
‘She was on the tour as an invited guest when she caught the eyes of producers. Molly made it clear she would love to be a part of Love Island, and she was told to audition,’ they explained.
‘After going through the process, she’s now a shoo-in to fly to Majorca later this month.’
Chloe Baker
Chloe Baker, a PrettyLittleThing and Lipsy London model, is the third alleged Love Island contender for this year.
The Instagram beauty was speculated earlier this year for the January series, but she’s now tipped for the summer series.
According to Mail Online, Chloe was ‘among the next crop of hopefuls heading to South Africa’ but maybe she’ll be more lucky in finding love this Summer.
Love Island returns to ITV2 and ITVX later this year.
