Last night’s episode of Love Island 2022 provided double doses of drama as Afia Tonkmor became the first islander dumped from the eighth series of the show – and the announcement of two new contestants.
That’s right, two brand spanking new bombshells are entering the villa tonight, in the form of Jay Younger and Remi Lambert.
So, who is new islander Remi – and how can you find him on Instagram?

Who is Remi Lambert?
Remi is a model from Manchester.

Remi was inspired to head to the villa after seeing sparks fly between former contestants Molly Mae Hague and Tommy Fury, and deciding he wants a love like that.
He believes he will bring a ‘goofy vibe, the fun vibe that everyone needs’ and described himself as a ‘chilled person that everyone can talk to if anything is wrong’.
However, Remi mentioned that he is ‘too picky’, and that girls who are ‘all day every day from Monday to Sunday on nights out’ give him the ick.
Being 6ft3in, he said he’d ‘like a girl to be at least 5ft10in’.
Currently, none of the girls in the villa fit this criteria – with the tallest, Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu, standing at just 5ft8in.
How old is Remi Lambert?
Remi is 22, the same age as Liam Llewellyn who left the show last week.
Now Liam has left, Remi will be the youngest male contestant this season.
The youngest islander in the villa is Gemma, who is 19 years old.

Remi can be found on Instagram at the handle @remilambo where he already has more than 14,000 followers, correct at the time of writing.
Plenty of his modelling shots can be found on the page, including campaigns with Jacamo and Harvey Nichols.
On a post announcing he would be going into the Love Island villa, Remi wrote: ‘WOOSH! THE BIG SECRET IS FINALLY OUT!
‘Your boy Remi AKA Lambo is going into the villa to show these boys just how it’s done! Do you think he’ll make girl’s heads turn? Let’s find out!’
