Love Island 2022 has already given us our meme queen – Indiyah Polack.
During the launch episode of the new series, the islanders weren’t given a choice as to who they would be coupling up with, with the choice being left up to the public.
Indiyah, 23, was coupled up with Ikenna, 23 – and immediately looked deeply unimpressed with the situation.
‘LOOOOOOOL Indiyah’s reaction.. she wasn’t happy boy,’ one viewer wrote, while another added: ‘I feel second hand embarrassment for Indiyah’s reaction to getting coupled up with Ikenna.’
‘Indiyah is not having it, she ain’t happy in her couple already. #loveisland,’ one more said.
Not the best start – especially as she appeared to have her eye on Dami Hope.
However, Indiyah seemed to come round to Ikenna (less so about his choice of footwear) later on in the episode, insisting she needed to be ‘more open’.
Indiyah previously admitted she’s a ‘player’ and will only ‘change her ways’ for the right person – so whether Ikenna’s the right one still remains to be seen.
‘I think it will take the right person for me to tone it down and change my ways but what you see with me in real life is what you’re gonna see in the villa.
‘Depending on who you are and how you make me feel, if I feel like you’re good enough, if I feel like you’re the right person for me to change my ways then maybe I will.’
No pressure Ikenna…
