Love Island is right around the corner, and it’s now been confirmed that the show will return to Spain on Monday June 28.
It’s been a long time coming, but after a long delay the programme will be back on ITV2 after being cancelled due to the pandemic in 2020.
The news was confirmed on This Morning, with Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield joined in the studio by former stars Marcel Somerville, Amy Hart and Laura Anderson.
It comes after reports that the Love Island cast is already in quarantine in Spain, as the show gears up for a hotly-anticipated new sizzling series.
The reality TV stars in the making are allegedly out in the Mediterranean, quarantining for two weeks so they are safely ready to mingle, according to reports.
Rumours of singletons included in the box-fresh Love Island line-up include aspiring influencer Lucinda Strafford, ex of Brighton & Hove Albion winger Aaron Connolly, 25-year-old NHS hospital doctor Toluwa Adepeju and Harley Benn, son of boxer Nigel Benn.
There’s also talk of the series welcoming its first-ever disabled contestant as it looks to present its most diverse cast to date.
