Love Is Blind season 2: Rejected proposals and secret engagements – what we didn’t see in the pods

*Warning: Huge spoilers for Love Is Blind season two below*

Love Is Blind season two has officially landed on Netflix, giving us another batch of singletons looking for their happily ever after.

Of course, it’s not quite as easy as that, as the contestants were in ‘pods’ and weren’t able to physically see the people they were chatting to until after they’d already fallen in love and got engaged.

Viewers were introduced to a shiny new cast, including Shayne Jansen, Trisha Frame, Mallory Zapata, Abhishek Chatterjee and Shaina Hurley, as they blindly began the search for the person they would spend the rest of their lives with.

However, while we were all glued to the chaos of the first batch of episodes, show creator Chris Coelen revealed there was even more that we didn’t see – including shock proposals, fun dates and extra engagements.

Honestly, we would watch a series just based on the pods alone.

Speaking to Metro.co.uk, he let slip: ‘There literally are tens of 1000s of hours of content that we filmed, we just tried to pick the stories that we were going to tell and tell them to the best of our ability.

‘There were actually two other couples that you don’t see on the show, two other couples got engaged. Once again, as much as we would love to follow eight engagements, which there were, we just don’t have the bandwidth to do that.

‘I think that one of those couples is still together but not married, is what I’m understanding, and the other one has broken up. I can’t confirm that with 100% accuracy, but that’s what I believe.’
