Linda Nolan proved that chemotherapy isn’t getting in the way of her wicked sense of humour by promising she didn’t ‘do lines of coke’ before a TV appearance.
The star and her sister Anne, who are both currently battling cancer, appeared on Steph’s Packed Lunch today to talk about the latest developments in their conditions.
But after watching back the footage, Linda – who has been told her cancer is incurable – couldn’t help but be distracted by her sniffing and wiping her nose.
Clearing the air quickly, she wrote on Twitter: ‘The chemo keeps making my nose run.
‘I PROMISE I didn’t do 80 lines of coke before coming on!’
Fans cackled at her making fun of the situation and wrote back to her giving their support (as well as a cheeky comeback or two).

‘HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA she’s actually a legend I cannot deal with her,’ one wrote.
‘Linda you make me laugh,’ said another.
‘Who knew those little hairs up your nose had purpose?’ another fan added, explaining: ‘I had the same problem last year on chemo.’
Linda and Anne have both been speaking out about their experience with cancer, and have been praised for their blunt and hilarious discussions in the face of the terminal disease.

Speaking to Steph McGovern, Linda said: ‘If it wasn’t so tragic, it’s hilarious really. I think you have to [keep the humour].
‘There’s only two ways you can go really – you can be depressed the whole time of your treatment, or you can make the best of what you’re going through.’
Both revealed their diagnosis last August, with Anne having breast cancer, and Linda’s cancer spreading to include her liver, having previously had breast cancer in 2006.
In December, Linda revealed more tumours had been found on her liver.
