Kourtney Kardashian has slammed the producers of The Kardashians after viewing the Hulu show’s edits, claiming her ‘true’ ‘fairytale love story’ hasn’t been shown amid focus on her ex-partner Scott Disick.

In the newest episode of the docu-series, which follows the lives of the Kardashian-Jenner sisters and their momager Kris Jenner, Kourtney speaks out against Hulu producers after viewing the edits.

Over the series so far, the programme has shown Kourtney’s romantic engagement to Travis Barker, their fertility journey as she tries to get pregnant, and how her family negotiate balancing time with Kourtney’s-ex, and father to her three children, Scott.

In this week’s episode, Kourtney, 43, shares her annoyance about how the show is edited to her friend Steph Shepherd.

The reality star says: ‘We’ve been watching the edits and we’re just so annoyed.

‘Editors or whoever are like, “Let’s take Kourtney, she’s the chosen one to be the drama.”‘

In a confessional, Kourtney adds: ‘While shooting our show, we are all executive producers so we get to see cuts of the show and give notes on episodes and make sure that our stories are being told.

‘I am in one of the best places I’ve been in my life and it’s time for our show to catch up.’

Continuing to Steph, Kourtney addresses the fallout from her proposal after a previous scene showed her younger sister Kendall Jenner questioning whether Kourtney is ‘sympathetic’ to Scott.

In another episode, Kourtney revealed she had been advised to drink Travis’s sperm (Picture: Hulu)

Kourtney told Steph: ‘That night I wasn’t like, “God everyone’s such f*****g a******s for bringing up this,” because it wasn’t a part of the night. It was like two seconds of the night.’

She adds: ‘I didn’t even remember it until I saw the cut of the episode.

‘I wish they would take that out, put it in the next episode and give us our respect. Let us have our moment.’

She continued by saying her proposal episode should have shared her ‘fairytale’ moment and been an ’empowering episode,’ saying: ‘It should be an empowering episode about me getting out of toxic relationships and having this fairytale love story that is my reality.

‘Why is the fairytale not being told? The true fairytale that it is.’

Blink-182 rocker Travis, 45, popped the question to Kourtney in October last year during a romantic sunset evening at Rosewood Miramar hotel in Montecito, California, presenting his future wife with a huge diamond ring.

The couple announced the exciting news on Instagram with Kourtney sharing photos of her kissing her new fiance as they enjoyed a celebratory dinner with family and friends.

‘Forever @travisbarker,’ the reality star captioned the photo.

Kourtney’s mum Kris Jenner and sisters Kim, Khloe, Kylie and Kendall Jenner were on-hand to help the couple celebrate their engagement at the intimate dinner with the Kardashian clan all present for the proposal along with Khloe’s on-off boyfriend Tristan Thompson and Kris’ longtime partner Corey Gamble.

Scott, 37, was quizzed for his thoughts on Kourtney and Travis’ romance last year during the KUWTK reunion, and said: ‘I think if you really love somebody, right, you want them to be happy no matter what.

‘So, I do give her a blessing to be happy.’

He and Kourtney dated for around 10 years but never married.

New episodes of The Kardashians are available to stream on Disney+ on Thursdays.
