Kourtney Kardashian has shared photos from her wedding to Travis Barker in Las Vegas, and to say it was chaotic is an understatement.
After the Grammys in April 2022, the Kardashians star, 43, and Blink-182 drummer, 47, wound themselves at a wedding chapel and exchanged vows in a ‘practice’ wedding.
Footage from the low-key wedding has been aired in a new Disney+ special honouring their love story, capturing the moment the two drunkenly declared their love for one other – as the Elvis impersonator mistakenly confused up the mom-of-three with her sister, Khloe Kardashian.
Until Death Part Us Kourtney and Travis, which was published today, detailed the moment Kourtney arrived at the altar and kissed her hubby.
After Elvis asked for their first names, he mistook the bride for her famous sibling, asking the I Miss You musician to repeat: ‘I, Travis, take you, Khloe, to be my wife.’
It was down to someone off camera to correct him on her name, as she couldn’t contain her laughter.
When he tried to continue the ceremony, the situation got too much for the Poosh owner, who collapsed to the floor in sobs, yelling: ‘I’m going to weep. We must FaceTime Khloe! She’ll literally perish!’
‘I’m so sorry, Kourtney,’ Elvis said, insisting: ‘I won’t make that mistake again.’
She ultimately stood back up so that the wedding could continue, complete with some unusual vows.
‘Baby, I promise to love you with all my heart. Kourtney, you’re my hunka hunka burning love,’ Travis repeated, before Kourtney told him, ‘You’re my steamroller, baby’.
‘Partners for life. You may kiss your beautiful bride and your handsome husband. You just got married by the King in Las Vegas,’ Elvis added as the ceremony came to a close.
We wouldn’t have expected anything less.
Kravis did not have a licence for the wedding and married in Santa Barbara a few weeks later before walking down the aisle again in Italy in May.
On a recent episode of the Kardashians, she said that she didn’t recall much of what happened, which is fortunate because cameras were around to catch it all.
‘I didn’t even remember Elvis sang to me walking down the aisle. I didn’t remember I had a bouquet,’ she said at the time, explaining that they were not able to acquire the necessary documents as it was ‘2am’.
‘I did throw up after though… I took my top off, unbuttoned my pants, I had to walk back through the hotel with a million people taking my photo. I was a hot slob kebab.
‘What could be a more fun night in Vegas? I’m truly living my best life – don’t let anyone tell you any different.’
The wedding special will provide fans exclusive access to all three events, including previously unseen video building up to their magnificent wedding day.
