Jonnie Irwin uploaded a behind-the-scenes video on Instagram after finishing filming a new project.
The 49-year-old former A Place In The Sun presenter had previously hinted that he was filming an advertisement to resume his career, which he has subsequently confirmed has been completed.
Days before, Jonnie had revealed that he had been diagnosed with cancer and was getting palliative treatment.
Dad-of-three After being told he had incurable cancer that had gone from his lungs to his brain, Jonnie stated in November 2022 that he might only have a few “months to live.”
Since then, he has provided health updates, most notably discussing getting care in a hospice during an interview on Morning Live.
Over the last several weeks, the Escape to the Country singer has also been updating his followers on his personal life on Instagram, including a trip to the Ashes and a rare public appearance at an award presentation.
Earlier this week, Jonnie re-shared a clip from Mayfair Worktops showing him in a kitchen with two co-stars and a camera production team, with the clip captioned: ‘Behind the scenes with @jonnieirwintv.’
Later, he posted an update that seemed to be taken the same day.
In it, he jokes: ‘I better get to the off-licence!’
The clip was cheekily captioned: ‘When it’s a wrap on a Friday.’
This comes after Jonnie spoke through video chat with Helen Skelton and Gethin Jones on Morning Live to discuss what palliative care actually entails.
He said: ‘Palliative care is the care you’re given when the doctors think you won’t recover. I’ve been in palliative care from day one.’
‘My perception of a hospice was very much a boiling hot room full of people that look frail and towards the end of their days,’ Jonnie went on.
