Jonnie Irwin finished his summer with a visit to London’s Oval cricket venue.
The father-of-three tweeted a few images from his amazing excursion to the sports field, describing it as the ‘greatest day’ of his life.
Jonnie, 49, was accompanied in the city by cricketer Ryan Sidebottom, and his amusing images pleased followers, who commented on Jonnie’s Instagram post to tell him how much they enjoyed seeing him out and about.
The A Place In The Sun presenter – who revealed last November he had terminal cancer, with a tumour in his lung spreading to his brain – captioned his Instagram post: ‘Had the best day in awesome company thanks to @ryansidebottom_official and @engagegroup_uk who made the whole experience a massive highlight of my summer.’
Beneath the TV star’s photos, one person wrote: ‘So, happy you had a super day,’ while another echoed, ‘Looking good Jonnie. So great seeing your lovely smile.’
Someone else said: ‘Great to see you out and about and enjoying yourself Jonnie lad.’
Other comments included: ‘Lovely, nice to see you enjoying time with your mates’ and ‘Glad you had a great time Jonnie, doing fantastic.’
Jonnie has been fully committed to his three children since learning of his cancer diagnosis last year.

Jonnie explained that his lung cancer had gone to his brain and was dying, but he is determined to build as many memories as possible with his young family.
The adoring father shares his three young sons with wife Jessica Holmes and took them to the funfair over the weekend.
The Escape to the Country star has stated publicly that he has no idea how long he has left to live.
Professionals earlier informed him that he would not be seen until 2023.
When asked what advise he would offer to individuals in his position back in July, he told BBC One’s Morning Live: ‘Embrace it.’
