John Travolta has proven he’s still as swift as Danny Zuko by reviving an iconic Grease dance routine with daughter for a new Super Bowl commercial.
The Pulp Fiction actor, 66, and Ella, 20, recreate Born To Hand Jive in the new ad, dancing in their garden to celebrate plant food Scotts’ Miracle-Gro.
Ella fills in for Olivia Newton-John in the clip, in a dance made famous in Grease back in 1978, with all the essential moves involved – we’re talking lasso whip and finger guns.
Bringing it into the 21st century, the song is changed to Sunday Best by Surfaces, with the duo dancing in front of a phone for a TikTok video.
Surrounded by famous friends, Martha Stewart stops tending to her tomatoes to tell John: ‘Still got it’.
The Office US’s Leslie David Baker doesn’t seem as impressed though, and tells off the pair for ruining his barbecue.
The actor pulls a classic Stanley in the scene and tells the pair: ‘Hey, Travoltas, don’t be Tik-ity Tok-king on my grass!’
Hey, you can’t please everyone!
The Super Bowl commercial is just the latest star-studded clips to make their way online, with businesses recruiting A-listers to impress viewers in the fought-after TV spots.
Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher make a rare appearance together in one to promote Cheetos, joining forces with Shaggy in a send-up of his classic track, It Wasn’t Me.
Michael B Jordan has also given his voice to become sexy Alexa in another ad.
