It looks like John Barrowman could be given a second chance by ITV bosses amid flashing allegations, as they have reportedly asked him to return as host of All Star Musicals for the next series.
The actor previously apologised for ‘tomfoolery’ on the set of BBC sci-fi show Torchwood, a spin-off of Doctor Who starring his popular character Captain Jack Harkness, after two former runners claimed he would ‘get his genitals out on a regular basis’ adding that he was ‘larking about’.
John recently revealed that he is undergoing therapy in the wake of these allegations of lewd behaviour.
It seems that ITV bosses are willing to take a chance on the American actor though, as they are reportedly discussing him returning to the entertainment special.
The programme sees a line-up of six celebrities embark on the ultimate musical theatre masterclass, with the most recent series being won by barrister and Broadcaster Robert Rinder win.

‘He’s the best man for the job and it’s been accepted that his behaviour was foolish rather than predatory. He knows it was a really daft thing to do but it was all a long time ago and there’s no chance of it happening again. We’re drawing a line and moving on.’
While nothing has been confirmed, if he does take on the role, this could mean we will also see him return as host of ITV’s Dancing On Ice.
The Arrow star previously blasted reports he had been dropped as a judge from the ice-skating competition, saying next year’s panel lineup hasn’t been decided yet.
In a recent interview with Daily Mail’s Weekend magazine, John elaborated on his behaviour on the set of Torchwood.

He insisted his actions were to ‘defuse any awkwardness on set’ and there was ‘absolutely nothing sexual about my actions and nor have I ever been accused of that’.
The Doctor Who actor said the things he did while working on set was to ‘maintain a jokey atmosphere’ but admitted he ‘accepts that my behaviour at the time could have caused offence’.
Revealing he had been called out by Doctor Who executive producer Julie Gardner around 2008 after she received a complaint, which she confirmed to The Guardian, Barrowman explained: ‘In blunt terms, she had just two words of advice: “Grow up!” That struck a chord.
‘I did as I was told and my behaviour changed overnight.
‘I’d still be full of jokes and fun, but no more naked pranks. I can see now my actions were pretty juvenile but this was a different time and it’s something I would not do today.’
