Joan Collins and Lily Cole were ladies in waiting as they prepared for the action to start on their new series Glow and Darkness.
Filming has begun on the medieval drama which will see Joan, 87, star as real life French Queen, Adelaide of Maurienne.
In her latest photo from the set, Joan sits beside Lily, 32, both in costume wearing lavish medieval-style gowns.
‘With @lilycole on the set of #glowanddarkness – waiting for action ?? @dream.light_dl,’ Joan captioned the snap.
Lily confirmed her involvement with the show last week with a selfie of her and Joan posing in a pair of different gowns, and told her Instagram followers: ‘New podcast episode – out (separately/ ironically) the same week I was playing aristocrat, filming w Queen Joan. “Is more better?”’
The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus actress has been using her downtime in between scenes to work on other work commitments as she was seen ‘casually’ editing her podcast while in costume in another photo.
Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Denise Richards is also set to star in the drama and took photos while getting her hair and make-up done.

Glow and Darkness will explore the life of Saint Francis of Assisi as well as other real life figures, such as Pope Urban II, Richard the Lionheart and Eleanor of Aquitaine, who is portrayed by Jane Seymour.
Queen Adelaide married King Louis VI of France in 1115 following the annulment of his first marriage before he became King.
The couple went on to have nine children together, including Louis VII of France. After her husband’s death, Queen Adelaide married Matthieu I of Montmorency who she had one child with.
A legend about the French queen claims she was rejected by a knight who was engaged to another woman, so lured him into the clutches of a lion. However, the knight defeated the lion by ripping out his tongue.
A release date for Glow and Darkness is yet to be announced.
