After being pushed from his bike by a vehicle, Jeremy Vine was left rattled.
Because the 58-year-old was wearing a helmet camera, he had a recording of the incident, which he uploaded on social media.
This isn’t the first time Jeremy has published a post like this online; he frequently wears the recording device while cycling and then shares recordings of drivers he feels are acting badly.
In his latest video, shared with his 788,000 X followers, he wrote: ‘This morning. About an hour ago.
‘Illegal right turn, then watch. Unbelievable.’
As the vehicle went over his bike, Jeremy knocked on the back of it to warn the driver and can be heard shouting’s**t’ as the events occur.
The driver of the vehicle ultimately appeared to hear and drove off the bike, away from Jeremy, who was positioned behind the van.
Someone then emerged and apologised to Jeremy before assisting him in carrying the bike onto the pavement.
When Jeremy is asked: ‘Are you okay, sir?’, he responded with ‘Just come over here’.
He later added: ‘Wow’.
One person replied to his tweet containing the footage with: ‘You went through a red light’.
‘It’s green [sic]. Don’t drive. Please,’ he wrote.

He also took screenshots and circled the traffic signals to respond to X users who asked if he had cycled through a red light.
Jeremy has strong feelings about bike safety.
He has lately come up with his own ideas for the future, in addition to becoming a crusader against drivers who he believes are breaching the laws.
‘I do think, firstly, we shouldn’t allow any overtaking of bicycles in big cities. That’s one step. And I’m starting to think I want cars to pull over if they see me behind them because they know I’m faster,’ he explained to The Times.
