Jeremy Clarkson may have revealed clues regarding the future of the hit Amazon series Clarkson’s Farm.
The former Top Gear presenter is presently filming series four, and he has given viewers optimism that there will be more seasons in the future.
While nothing has been announced for a fifth release, Jeremy, 64, quipped that two members are vying for lead roles.
Alongside a photo of his pets Sansa and Arya spending time with show boss Andy Wilman he wrote: ‘The dogs pleading with @andy.wilman to be in season 5.’
Fans reacted excitedly to the Instagram post. Liam Conlan wrote: ‘Season 5. Amazing !!!!!!! Bring on season 4!!!!’
‘Is that a (not so) subtle way of announcing that Amazon have green-lit another series?,’ said Gill Pile.
Granville Taylor Riffel predicted: ‘5this is going to be the longest running Farming tutorial show ever.’
Previously, Andy stated that neither he nor Jeremy were frightened to cancel one of the most popular shows on all major streaming services in the UK if it no longer felt authentic.
‘I’ve got no feelings on whether there’s a five or not. Jeremy’s the same. He’s like: “When we’ve got nothing left to say, let’s walk away”,’ he explained to Deadline.
The series follows Jeremy as he attempts to run his own 1,000-acre Oxfordshire farm, Diddly Squat, with the help of farm manager Kaleb Cooper, land agent Charlie Ireland, ‘head of security’ Gerald Cooper, and his partner Lisa Hogan. The most recent episodes focused on Jeremy’s venture into pig farming, which led to some tragedy but a happy ending.
Filming for the next series has reportedly been regularly interrupted due to ‘giant military aircraft thundering overhead’.
Clarkson’s Farm is available to stream on Amazon Prime Video.
