Janette Manrara has a special Disney song she sings to baby during pregnancy – and it’s bound to pull on your heartstrings

Janette Manrara has shared that a certain Disney song has a special importance for her throughout her pregnancy, so prepare to let out a collective ‘aww’.

The former Strictly Come Dancing professional dancer and It Takes Two host is presently expecting her first child with her husband, Aljaz korjanec, another Strictly fan favourite.

Alja, 33, recently said that he is sobbing ‘every day’ in anticipation of their baby’s arrival, having just returned from a babymoon with Janette, 39.

Janette spoke with hosts Alex Jones and Jermaine Jenas on Thursday’s The One Show, the penultimate episode of the week until Tuesday ahead of the weekend due to King Charles’ Coronation, about how she’s feeling at this point of her pregnancy.

‘I honestly feel extremely fantastic. We are really fortunate and delighted to be pregnant. The infant is doing extremely well. ‘I’m overjoyed,’ she exclaimed.

After talking about her impending involvement presenting special anniversary Disney 100: The Concert events to mark the company’s big milestone, the lifetime Disney fan said that a music from a classic animated movie reminds her of her child.

‘One of my personal favourites is So This Is Love from Cinderella, because when I hear the lyrics, I just think of the baby, this is what real love feels like,’ she said, revealing that she sings the song to her baby in the womb.

‘I love Aljaž, but you know what I mean? It’s a different level of connection I feel, and the lyrics from that song from Cinderella really resonate with me and the baby.

‘I keep saying the baby’s going to really become a Disney fan because even in the womb it’s listening to Disney.’

Janette claims that over their relationship, she has changed Aljaž into a Disney fan, to the point that he now watches the movie with her and sings the songs to the infant.

‘I’ve got to give Aljaž massive kudos, because he’s been the most incredible husband and partner throughout this whole pregnancy,’ she stated.

‘He’s brilliant. He’s going to be superdad, he can’t wait.’

While some future fathers may be concerned about the prospect of having a child, Aljaž does not appear to be concerned.

Instead, the cheerful dancer is simply ‘overjoyed,’ she added.

The One Show airs weekdays from 7pm on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
