Janette Manrara and her husband Aljaz Skorjanec have only been parents for a few weeks, but work is already on the doting mother’s mind.
The Strictly Come Dancing actress, 39, gave birth to her first child with her boyfriend Aljaz, 33, at the end of July.
Janette was asked when she’d be returning on screens as the host of Strictly spin-off It Takes Two, which she’s been presenting since 2021, during an Instagram Q&A with fans on Monday.
It Takes Two usually premieres at the same time as Strictly Come Dancing, which is set to return to television screens next month.
Asked: ‘Are you going to be back on It Takes Two?’ mum-of-one Janette said with a smile, ‘Yes, I am back.’
The professional dancer added: ‘I guess there wasn’t a huge official announcement but yeah, I’m back.
‘Luckily I had more than enough time on maternity leave with Lyra for me to be able to come back and do the show.
‘So yes, I will be on the couch along with Fleur [East] interviewing all of the couples and I can’t wait to actually.’
Janette went on: ‘I literally can’t wait. It was such an amazing year last year, but I feel like every year just, I don’t know, it’s just as great.’

Janette recently revealed the details of her ‘wonderful’ delivery, informing her followers that Lyra Rose was delivered through C-section.
She and Aljaz previously disclosed that they had been trying to conceive for two years.
On announcing their pregnancy, Janette said: ‘For the past couple of years we hadn’t been using protection but nothing was happening, so we thought IVF was the next best thing for us to do.’
She added to Hello! Magazine: ‘I know that IVF can be really strenuous on a woman’s body and there is no guarantee it will work, so to know that this little miracle just came from a wonderful night we had together is amazing.
‘I think the baby decided to make mum and dad panic a bit before saying, “ok, fine, I’m coming up now.”’
