Jack Whitehall stuns the audience with a very cheeky Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield joke

As a comic, Jack Whitehall couldn’t help cracking a joke on Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield‘s apparent feud.

Sources suggest that the This Morning duo’s bond has ‘dwindled.’

As a consequence, the ITV daytime programme has been thrown into disarray, with whispers spreading that Phil has hired lawyers, Holly is considering resigning, and the couple has stepped away from the show entirely.

It’s almost all everyone has spoken about over the previous two weeks, and Jack, the comedian, was eager to make light of it all.

Rosie applauded the comic, 34, who appeared on The Chris and Rosie Ramsey Show alongside his father, Michael Whitehall, for how well they get along, given that Michael, 83, frequently accompanies his son for TV appearances.

‘You guys come across like you’ve got a lovely relationship,’ she told them.

‘Behind closed doors it’s like Holly and Phil, we don’t talk to each other,’ Jack responded, unable to just accept the compliment without a caustic comment.

The crowd sent out a simultaneous scream – gosh, he did it!

‘What? Oh, come on!’ cried Jack, to which the audience responded with applause.

Hosts Chris and Rosie’s reactions showed genuine surprise at the dig.

The married pair then moved the conversation forward quickly…

Chris and Rosie congratulated Jack on his latest announcement later in the episode.

The Bad Education star confirmed earlier this month that he and partner Roxy Horner, 31, are expecting their first child together.

Jack has now revealed that the model is six months pregnant, which means there isn’t much more until their baby arrives.

When asked if he and his pregnant wife Roxy are currently “living in a bubble,” Jack replied, ‘Yeah, I’m very, very excited, it’s amazing that the news is finally out there. She’s nearly six months along now, my girlfriend.’

‘I’d been thinking about it for a while, but I really wanted to get on with it because of this guy,’ he added, tapping Michael on the knee, who wasn’t best pleased.

‘Cheers!’, he said sarcastically.

Michael then joked about this being Jack’s first child ‘as far as we know.’

For the record, Jack has stated that he does not have any secret children.

The author, on the other hand, was full of admiration for his kid.

He agreed that Jack will be an excellent father.

‘I think he’ll be sweet, he’s very kind, he’s a nice boy, I mean, that’s why he’s prepared to have his father sitting next to him, which is quite weird. Nice but weird,’ he said.

The Chris and Rosie Ramsey Show airs Fridays on BBC One and iPlayer.
