Giovanna Fletcher has been crowned this year’s winner of I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!, making her the show’s first queen of the castle.
The podcaster and author beat Jordan North and Vernon Kay, who finished in second and third place respectively, to secure that all-important royal throne.
Across Twitter, fans have expressed their delight that the 34-year-old has won the series, with one writing: ‘#ImACelebrity Well done Giovanna!!! Well deserved!!’
Another commented: ‘YAAAAY MAMA G so happy Giovanna won.’
As a fan posted: ‘Giovanna queen of the castle!!!!!!!! So happy MWAHHHHH.’
A Twitter user was obviously very excited, screaming: ‘GIOVANNA MY LOVE MT DARLING MY ANGEL, I AM SO INCREDIBLY PROUD OF YOU, YOU’VE MADE ME SO HAPPY, SO MUCH LOVE YOU YOU.’
All three celebs faced a series of disgusting-looking trials as they neared the end of their time on the show, with Giovanna’s final challenge seeing her successfully eat dishes including a fish eye, a fermented duck egg and a bull’s penis.
She had previously told I’m A Celebrity co-presenters Ant and Dec that she could not believe she had made it to the final two, telling them: ‘It’s amazing just to be here.
‘I can’t believe I’m part of the show that I love.’
Following the announcement of her win, Giovanna was clearly shocked and surprised, as she said: ‘I can’t believe it, people have literally picked up their phone and voted. I can’t believe it.
‘It’s been the most amazing experience.’
Husband Tom Fletcher was among those congratulating her, with the McFly musician writing: ‘YEEEEEAAAAHHHH!!!! Thanks SO much for voting and supporting @MrsGiFletcher from the very beginning.
‘She’s always been our queen but now she has a crown to prove it! Now I just have to explain to the kids that this doesn’t mean we’re moving into the castle…’
While Giovanna’s brother, former Towie star Mario Falcone, added: ‘Wow!!! I am so happy for her!!!
