The tables are turned on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! this weekend, with Ant and Dec facing their own Bushtucker Trials for the very first time.
The presenters took on three iconic challenges from the show’s history for this Sunday’s I’m A Celebrity… A Jungle Story, including a horrifying eating trail.
A new clip from Sunday’s special sees Ant presented with a fish eye by I’m a Celebrity: Extra Camp host Joel Dommett.
‘Why ‘eye’ man!’ Joel quips in the clip, before Ant struggles to keep down the revolting item.
The pair also faced witchetty grub, blended vomit fruit, fermented duck egg, blended cockroaches and a pig’s penis on the challenge.
It wasn’t just the eating trial that the pair were tasked with either. The Fear Your Fears challenge saw Dec unscrew stars while his head was encased in a helmet full of critters and creepy crawlies.
The Catch a Falling Star task also saw Ant catch stars as they fell from the sky along with buckets of green slime.
The footage, which was filmed in the Australian jungle back in 2019, will be shown on Sunday night’s I’m A Celebrity… A Jungle Story, which airs at 8.10pm this Sunday.
The full line-up for this year’s series will also be announced on the show. The likes of Sir Mo Farah, West End’s Ruthie Henshall, and EastEnders’ Shane Richie are among those who are rumoured to be taking part.
TV host Vernon Kay and Coronation Street’s Beverley Callard have also been connected to the series, while Victoria Derbyshire and Strictly Come Dancing’s AJ Pritchard are also in the running.
Coronavirus restrictions have forced the show to relocate from New South Wales in Australia to Gwyrch Castle in Abergele, Wales, which is supposedly haunted.
I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! starts Sunday 15 November at 9pm on ITV.
