Over the past couple of years, TikTok has boomed as one of the most dominant forms of social media, with several young stars gaining fame after attracting droves of followers.

A new Netflix show called The Hype House shines a light on the members of the collective of the same name, which was formed in 2019 and is made up of a group of young people who constantly make content day after day.

Many members of the group – which has included Charli D’Amelio, Dixie D’Amelio, Addison Rae and Chase Hudson – live in a huge mansion in Los Angeles, California together.

As well as taking viewers behind the scenes of the creators’ daily lives, The Hype House programme also documents the drama that often brews between them, from business-related disputes to cracks in relationships.

Here are the members of Hype House who are in the cast.

Nikita Dragun

Nikita Dragun, 25, is a YouTuber and make-up artist, having launched her own line in March 2019 called Dragun Beauty.

She came out as a transgender woman as a teenager, frequently speaking openly about her transition online.

Nikita currently has over 14million followers on TikTok, over 3.5million subscribers on YouTube and nine million followers on Instagram.

Chase Hudson aka Lil Huddy

Chase Hudson, known professionally as Lil Huddy, was one of the founders of the Hype House in 2019.

He has over 32million followers on TikTok, over two million on YouTube and almost 12million on Instagram.

Chase, 19, made numerous headlines over his relationship with fellow social media star Charli D’Amelio, with the pair remaining friends following their break-up in April 2020.

In the Hype House TV series, the show follows Chase as he begins to veer away from the Hype House collective to focus more on pursuing his music career.

Vinnie Hacker

Vinnie has a strong following online, having gained popularity largely due to his lip-syncing videos, accumulating five million Instagram followers, almost half a million on YouTube and almost 13million on TikTok.

In the Netflix series, the 19-year-old opened up about how he didn’t want to be a social media star, but gained momentum on various platforms due to his ‘thirst traps’, where he posts videos of himself topless.

Thomas Petrou

From the beginning of Hype House, for anyone not familiar with Thomas, it’s clear that he’s the man in charge of the collective.

While he founded the house in 2019 alongside friends including Chase, he is the one who the others look up to as the de facto boss, frequently checking up on the other members of the group to make sure that they are creating the content they need to continue making money.

Aged 23, Thomas currently has close to two million YouTube subscribers, around the same amount on Instagram and eight million on TikTok, while the Hype House Instagram account has 5.5million followers and its TikTok account is nearing 20million followers.

Larray

Larray, 23, is a YouTuber who boasts over eight million subscribers on the platform, posting videos on a variety of topics including music and gaming.

He also has over 25million followers on TikTok and over six million on Instagram, and in the Hype House TV series, it’s apparent that he’s particularly close with Nikita.

In July 2020, the collective sparked controversy when a party thrown by Nikita for Larray’s birthday was held at the house in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Alex Warren

Alex, who’s 21 years old, is known for his comedy and daring stunts on social media, amassing two million followers on Instagram, over 2.6million on YouTube and 14.7million on TikTok.

He’s in a relationship with fellow Hype House member Kouvr Annon, moving in with his girlfriend when he left home as a teenager.

Jack Wright

Jack, one of the original members of Hype House, is 18 years old and is both an entertainer and a dancer.

He has close to nine million followers on TikTok and over one million on Instagram, with one of his most recent posts thanking Thomas for all the support he’s given him.

‘Love love love this man. Can’t thank you enough for everything. Hardest working guy I’ve ever met and also the nicest,’ he said.

Kouvr Annon
