Australian telly is having a real moment in the UK recently, and if we’re not watching our Aussie friends get hitched or go surfing, we’re watching them cook up a storm on MasterChef Australia.

The Down Under version of the cooking show is winning over a cult following in the UK.

It follows the same format as the original UK version, with hopefuls looking to impress a team of judges with their gastronomic creations. The series sees contestant go up against talented amateur cooks on their way to the final, for the chance to win a whopping £139,000 ($250,000).

While the format remains as classic as ever, things have changed on the show over the years. George Calombaris, Gary Mehigan and Matt Preston presented the show from its launch in 2009 until 2019.

Judges Jock Zonfrillo, Melissa Leong and Andy Allen then took over proceedings, while Gordon Ramsay and Heston Blumenthal have also guest starred on the show.

As well as being popular in Australia, the show has gained a following in the UK too. But where can people watch it? Here’s what you need to know.

While the show airs on Australia’s Network 10 in Australia, there are episodes airing most days on W in the UK.

Series 13 of the show aired earlier this year, but the UK is a little behind. The 10th series is airing on W at the moment, but it means there’s an awful lot to catch up on.

The episodes first aired in 2018, and is the last series with the original judges George, Gary and Matt.

Episodes of MasterChef Australia are shown at 6.10pm on weekdays on W. For a full list of episodes, head here.
