Disney Plus has been available in the UK since March 2020, treating subscribers to exclusive shows like Star Wars spin-off The Mandalorian and all 30 seasons of The Simpsons.

And we’re set to enjoy yet more treats from the streaming platform courtesy of Disney Plus Day on Friday November 12 – as the service celebrates its second anniversary.

Home Alone reboot Home Sweet Home Alone and recent Marvel offering Shang-Chi And The Legend Of The Ten Rings are among those offerings you’ll be able to watch from then.

But just how much will all that Disney magic set you back, and will would-be subscribers be able to try it for free?

We’ve got all the information you need.

How much is the Disney Plus monthly subscription in the UK?

Normally Disney Plus will set you back £7.99 a month – although new subscribers can currently get their first month of the service for just £1.99 if they sign up before November 14.

Subscribers can register Disney Plus on up to 10 devices and one account can support up to seven profiles – while you can stream content concurrently on four devices at once.

The subscription works on a monthly basis – so you can also cancel at any time.

Annual subscribers will pay £79.90 for the service.

Unfortunately Disney Plus no longer offers a free trial to new subscribers.

However an annual subscription does work out cheaper than paying monthly – so that’s something to consider if you plan to sign up.

Some mobile phone providers, such as o2, also offer you money off your bill with them if you take out a monthly subscription – you can find out more at their website.

How do you sign up to Disney Plus?

You can sign up through the Disney Plus website or app.

Disney Plus is compatible on major tablets, smartphones, Smart TVs, Apple TVs, PS5s, Amazon Fire TVs, Xbox Series Xs and more.
