My Mum, Your Dad is a new ITV dating programme that depicts middle-aged single life.
It’s definitely had people talking, from Roger’s painful date with Caroline, when he opened up about his wife’s death, to the underground bunker, where all the adult offspring squirmed with humiliation at their parents’ flirtation.
Davina McCall hosts the programme, which has so far included businessman Paul who was so frightened he couldn’t talk to therapist Monique, and charming welfare worker Sharon who was having an affair with PE instructor Elliott.
Not to mention a lot of brushing with an electric toothbrush. We’re not sure why they do it all the time.
It’s been branded the “middle-aged Love Island,” and it’s shot in West Sussex in a beautiful £8 million home.
So, if you’re eager to find out what’s going on with the single cast – and their progeny – when will it air, and how long will the series last?
Let us investigate.
When is My Mum, Your Dad on TV?
My Mum, Your Dad airs on weeknights at 9pm.
You can watch all the action on ITV and ITVX.
Roger, Monique, Clayton, Caroline, Elliott, Sharon, Natalie, and Paul have already entered the home, and they will be joined by Janey, 47, a vibrant recruiting manager and singer who was nominated by her 19-year-old son, Will, a student.
How many episodes are there?
Unlike Love Island, which runs for several weeks and has a live final, My Mum, Your Dad is all pre-recorded.
There are 10 episodes, so that means there’s no time to waste in checking out potential soulmates.
The 10 episodes will air Monday to Friday inclusive over a two-week period, and they began on Monday, September 11, 2023.
So the show is due to end on Friday, September 22.
