Holly Willoughby has given a scary vision of what’s to come as she prepares to appear on Ant & Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway.
This Saturday’s episode will be the final one before the long-running ITV series goes on hiatus as hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly spend time with their families.
Ant, 48, is expecting his first child with wife Anne-Marie Corbett. Anne-Marie has two children from a previous relationship to whom Ant is a stepfather.
Meanwhile, Dec, 48, and his wife Ali Astall, 45, have been raising their second kid, a son born in 2022.
All of this implies that after the latest season of the variety programme concludes in April, we may not see it again for a long time.
But the duo has pledged to go out with a bang, and Saturday’s major guest Holly Willoughby has hinted at the shenanigans that fans might expect.

Holly, 43, uploaded an Instagram photo of herself and fellow visitor Rylan Clark as former Girls Aloud singer Cheryl held two big cakes in the air.
The image is bad news for Ant and Dec, whose faces may probably be forced into those sponges during another entertaining Get Me Out of Ear segment.
Over the years, the Geordie couple has put celebrities through their paces with bush-tucker challenges and other pranks, but on this newest season of Saturday Night Takeaway, the tables have truly turned.
And it appears like Holly, Rylan, and Cheryl will have complete influence over Ant and Dec‘s future, with a little help from Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Oti Mabuse, and Olly Murs.
As if that wasn’t enough, Alison Hammond and Dermot O’Leary, as well as Davina McCall, Craig David, Richard Madeley, and Gino D’Acampo, will get their revenge on Ant and Dec.
It’s unclear what hardships and tribulations Ant and Dec will face, but music mogul and Britain’s Got Talent judge Simon has vowed that his brand of payback would be’sweet’.
Ant told The One Show on Thursday night that he considered himself ‘un-embarassable’ before Rylan and Holly entered the picture.
‘They put us through the wringer,’ he told the BBC primetime weekday show, adding, ‘I think they were worse on us than we’ve ever been on anybody.’
It’s not quite clear whether Holly and Rylan’s pranks on Ant and Dec are part of the secret ‘project’ featuring Holly that Rylan hinted at earlier this month.
‘All will become clear. All I can say is me and Holly have done something and you’ll find out what it is very soon,’ he told The Sun.
