Due to a terrible illness, Holly Willoughby has stated that she’may not’ be fronting This Morning this week.
The 42-year-old ITV daytime presenter posted to Instagram on Sunday to inform her followers that she has been diagnosed with Singles.
The virus that causes chickenpox also causes the infection, which is unpleasant. It can affect anybody, although it is most frequent among the elderly.
Holly penned via Instagram Stories: ‘Hi, just to let you know, I may be away for the rest of the week as I have Shingles.’
‘I’ll be back as soon as I’m better. Huge love.’
Monday through Thursday, Phillip Schofield and co-star Holly headline the popular daytime show, with Alison Hammond and Dermot O’Leary presenting on Fridays.
It has not yet been determined who will be covering Holly in the coming days.
The host recently took a vacation for the Easter holiday, leaving Josie Gibson and Craig Doyle in charge of This Morning.
Phil is expected to return to the show tomorrow [Monday, April 17].
During his brother’s trial, the presenter has been missing from the midday television show.
Timothy Schofield was found guilty of sexually assaulting a teenage boy over a three-year period on Monday at Exeter Crown Court.
Following the decision, Phil released a statement in which he stated that he ‘no longer’ has a brother.
Phil is on pre-planned leave, according to a source who spoke to Metro.co.uk.
Holly presented her new co-star as Alison during the show on Monday, March 27, without explaining her regular partner’s disappearance.
‘Phillip is taking the week off, so all the grownups have fled the office,’ she told viewers.
